Parents of Michel Chretien, Clinton county, NY?

Hello

Have Michel Chretien/Christan and Marguerite Yon/Young's children, George Henry, Charles and Louis baptized St. Joseph du Corbeau, Coopersville, NY 1879, 1880. Marguerite died in childbirth with Loius in 1880 and is buried there.
The 3 small boys were raised by Marguerite Yon's parents, Joseph Yon and Mary Migneault.
Have been unable to locate the marriage of Michel and Marguerite, and therefore can not establish Michel's ancestry. Have also been unable to locate him in future census records. There are Christian listed in Saranac and Plattsburgh, NY on the 1869 Beers Atlas.
Any help out there?
