Greetings Betty, I haven't written in a while, but I will give you some more info on my relatives. My Grandmother's maiden name was Bettie Lorene Choice, and her fathers name was Will Choice. Her mothers name was Lillie Francis Twine Choice. Her Mothers parents were Jim and Nellie Twine from Henderson, TX.

Her Fathers parents were Ben and Cora Choice who lived in Smith County, TX and is listed as a part of the 1880 census there with other family members in the same area. These Choice's were from North Georgia, and possibily North Louisiana.

My grandmother was married to Burl Mauldin, and he is buried with other family members (His Father and siblings) in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Smith County, TX.

My relatives attended Mt. Zion CME church in Smith County, TX. The cemetery is located on Farm or county road 2767 not far from Gregg County line.

I need to know where exactly Waskom Texas is located so I can look up its county web page.

The Black Cemetery URL has been a true blessing for me. I have found so many relatives located on the pages there. I will give it again below, if anyone else is reading this message, feel free to contact me.

The Choice families have been in the region since 1860's. Other relatives are scattered across towns leading to Dallas and Ft.Worth.

I look forward to talking with you soon.
