Looking for Descendants of Eli W. Choate of Arkansas

Looking for a male descendant of Eli W. Choate who carries the Choate name to take a Y-DNA test to "prove" which Choate line Eli belonged to. The test is already paid for, so there is no cost to the tester with the exception of $1.71 to cover the cost of postage. It is believed that Eli's grandparents were John R. Choate and Mary (--?--). Eli had two brothers: Oliver who died at the age of 10 and Rubin/Reuben who we have no information about.

The test is very simple to take in the comfort and privacy of your home with no side effects. This test will tell what nationalities a person is and also connects you to all other testers who carry the same genes. The test results are ONLY used for genealogy purposes and is completely private and NOT shared in any other way.

If you are a female who knows of a Choate male in this family line, please ask your Choate brothers, uncles or male cousins if they would be interested in taking the test.

Eli W. married Mary Ann Scott about 1883 in Pope County, Arkansas. They had sons:

James Arthur who married Gretta M. (--?--). They had 4 sons

Andrew Edward m. Mary (--?--). They had one known son, Odes or Otis

Jess Claud (a twin). Don't know if he died young or married

John Ira m. Ada Zettie McAnulty. They had two known sons

Montgomery. Don't know if he died young or married and had children.

If you do not want to post to this site, please feel free to contact me at the following e-mail addy. Please add "Choate DNA" in the Subject box.
