Ernest Edward Chitty b. 1870 in Enfield (London)d.1938. Married Ellen Turner (1870-1939) on 21/5/1892 in Wolverhampton, daughter of David Turner.
1)Edith Lydia Chitty b. 1893 in Birmingham
2)Elsie May Chitty b. 1895
3)Ellen Doris Chitty b. 1897
4)Horace John Chitty b. 1899
5)Alice Gertrude Chitty b. 21/01/1902 at 80, Coleman Street,Wolverhampton. d.29/10/1957. Married Clarence Bruce Sinclair on 13/3/29.
Have info on their children.
6) Charles Lees Chitty b. 1904
7) William Henry Chitty b. 1906
8) Leonard Arthur Chitty b. 1908
9) Howard James Chitty b. 1910 d. in infancy
10) Lawrence Arthur Chitty b. 1915 d. in infancy
11) Ernest Edward Chitty b. 1917

The first Ernest Edward Chitty, was born in 1870 at Enfield Highway, Enfield, Middlesex and was an ironware enameller. His wife's father, David Turner was working as an ironworker in Wolverhampton at the time of their marriage in 1892.
