The David Stanly listed above, and his father John was also in Augusta Co., VA along with the Leepers and McCords.They first were shown in records of Anson/Tryon/Mecklenburg Co., NC as early as 1758.They may be the John and David Stanley that Stanley Creek was named for (now is Gaston Co., NC).
