i have also recently started to work on this family lineage, and would accept any help i can get. i found the same info on Robert Chittenden (~1555-) who married Mary Merriam and had child William Chittenden(~1593-1660), William married Joanna Sheaffe and of their children I'm related to their son thomas (1635-1683), I have followed my lineage of them until Beulah Chittenden (~1761-) who married Matthew Lyon...I need info on their children, one source told me nothing, and a few more gave different names....specifically I am searching for any info on their son Hylan B. Lyon, please help. and in case you were unaware, Beulah's father Thomas (1730-1797) was the first governor of vermont. I believe the Chittenden-Lyon's were in Eddyville, Kentucky, moved from Vermont, Ct. areas.
