Dear Arthur, I spent a year in Tasmania, my mom had the first Fulbright Teachers exchange in 1961-2, I owe the schools down there my ability to read. But I still can't spell.
Here goes on Chittenden.
1) Robert Chittenden-of Marden,Essex, England
Father of Major William, mother unknown.
2) Major William Chittenden, born March,1594
died 1 Feb.1661, in Guilford, N.H. Conn.married Joanna Sheaffe, born in Cranbrook,
Kent, England. Died 16 Aug.1668. in Guilford.
