My Great Grandfather's name was John Thomas Chism and married Celeste Wood daugther of Dr. J.B. Wood of Mo. mid 1800's. Best I can find out now is John was from Monroe Co. Tenn
I don't know if he was born there or not. They had five or six children Hugh, John, Hershal, and Sarah. I take these names of the top of my head as I'm at work and don't have the paper work with me. If this peaks your brain cells let me know and I'll dig farther. This family settled in around Blue Eye Ar/Mo. I am now trying to put together my own family tree. I just have hit and miss information. My Grandfather (Hershel) married Chlora Pharis from Barryville Ar. in 1911. Her father was William Pharis.
