CHEESOME RESEARCH BY ALICE CLOPTON

Hi Chism Researchers:

While looking back through all my files, I came across a Chism Family Association Newsletter, I think it was from 1991.

In it was a History of James Chism of Virginia Family prepared by Neal A. Chism with reference to a study done by Alice Clopton. This was a study of the Cheesome Family and stated that she had traced the Cheesome Family and discovered there was no connection to the Chisholm/Chism/Chisum/Chisom/Chisolms.

Since some of the discussions on this forum has mentioned the possibility of Richard Cheesome as being the first to emigrate to the colonies I would like to learn more about the study and if a copy exists.

Thanks for any information anyone can provide.
