I have nothing on Sallie J but I suspect that she may have been a niece to William G Chism who was in that same area of Ms at that time. William G was born in Va and migrated to Ms. I know that one of William G.'s son married a Mary Alice Moore and one of his daughters married a William Moore. Mary Alice Moore's family came from Tn to Ms in the early 1800's. That family goes back to Va.
