I am looking for information on a Mary Ann Chism. She married James M Courtney on 16 Dec 1852, in Jackson Co., MO. In 1854, this James appears in Pettis Co. and is married for a second time. I have just recently discovered this first marriage in Jackson Co, so I don't know anything about Mary Ann. James was born in 1833, so I would imagine that Mary was born around the same time. Chances are, she died between 1852 & 1854, leaving one child, Mary Ann Courtney, who was born in 1853. Any information on Mary Ann Chism would be appreciated.
