Meade County ,Ky Chisms

I have John Chism married Margaret Tibbs 29 March 1816 (photocopy of record). The 1850 Meade Co census lists John Chism Sr. 55
Margaret 53
William 18
Elijah 16
Abraham 14
Since John is listed as John Sr. he must have has a son John Jr. either not living with them at the time or deceased. The 1860 Meade Co. census lists: John Chism Sr. 64
Margaret 63
No children with them

J.M.Chism 33
Elizabeth 33
Martha 12
Marshall 9
William 6
Barbara 3
I believe John Sr. to be John H. Chism and question if he would have two sons named John
since John Jr. would probably also be John H.
John H and Abraham are my direct descendants.
I am always interested in exchanging information concerning the Chisms. I believe my particular line arrived in the colonies in the mid to late 1600's.
