Looking for mother, father, and siblings of a William G. Chism, wife Mariah L. They are shown in the 1850 and later census of Itawamba Co. Ms. They later moved to either Colbert Co or Lauderdale Co Al. The census shows William G. father to be from Va and mother from N.C. William G. was born in Al(ca 1814) and Mariah in Ms. The name was spelled several different ways by the census taker(William G. was illiterate) but the spelling finally came out as Chisholm. William G. is my great grandfather.
Any help would be appreciated.
