I am searching for information on a William Chism and his wife, Frances Fitzpatrick Chism. William was born in Clark County, KY 1823. We think his parents were James Chism and Elizabeth Fletcher. In 1847/48 he married Frances Fitzpatrick (?) and they had several children. They are listed in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census of Clark County, KY, but in 1872 they moved ,supposedly, to Ft. Bend County, Texas. How many children went with them, we don't know for certain except for one, a daughter, Mary Frances Chism who married Charles Melvin Rogers. The only one we know for certain stayed home was James William Chism (Jim Paw). Any one with an information on this family, even "Could Be's" please email me. Thanks
