I am descended from Elijah Chisum. My grandfather,Arthur Bernard Chisum b.6-19-1913
m.Gladys Morehead-d.1995-g grandfather, Lee Jackson Chisum-m.Bertie Alders-gg grandfather,Andrew Jackson Chisum,son of ElijahJr and Salina Briley Nesbitt.-Elijah was married three times, Salina being his third wife. We have a family cemetary in Woden, tx.-Simpson Campground Cemetary. The Chisum, Alders,Rickett,King, and Simpson families settled the town, a small farming community. Any information that you have would be treasured.Also graves in cemetary date back to the late 1700's-I think I saw an Elijah Chisum there,and will check the next time I visit.
