I appreciate your belief, however from what I can tell from your post all of the sources you site are secondary sources. My conclusions are based entirely upon original research which if you would like I can send you. I can find NO record of a James CHISM that was of the right age to have been the father of these boys. If you have primary references( by that I mean wills, deeds, etc... and not the Harlan or other family history) that prove this connection I would like to see them however at this time, at least in my opinion, the facts do not support the allegations that James and Mary (HOWARD) CHISM were the parents of the Monroe Co, KY Chisms.
