I am tuning in a little late, but I have lots of SC Chisholm and Trenholm data as my grandmother was Evelyn Chisholm Trenholm. There are in fact 2 Robert Trail Chisholms, but as to male descendants, my brother and I are and we have 5 children and 5 grandchildren. Rob't Trail brother of George, died 1821. George named a son after him who was born 1798. This Rob't Trail was married twice and there are a lot of offspring. My records trace this part of the family to a John deChisholme (d.1250).
