Have 3 Chisholm childrens names and their mother...need FATHERS FIRST NAME

Ellen J.Marsh-Chisholm b. 1861 ohio moved with her parents to Redwood city Calif. between 1870-1880 from Ohio.
She married a ? Chisholm, they had 3 children
Alexandria Chisholm b. 1888
Abbie B. Chisholm b. 1890
William Stevenson Chisholm b. 1895
I found Ella in the 1900 census in Lorain Ohio with all three children as a Widow, living with her Parents.
Then I found Abbie and William in the 1910 census in Fort Bragg Calif. living with their Grandmother, Rachel B. Marsh.
I have found a DANIEL CHISHOLM who died in Cloverdale Ca. I believe in 1900.
I don't know if this Chisholm is the right one or not.
Could the names of the children have any meaning or clue to finding who their father was??
