Bil, I will be happy to copy the "Blind John " file for you the next time I am in Huntsville. Like I reported, William L Chisholm was paid to bring "Blind John's" slaves to Huntsville. I can't say for sure that William is his son. Nor can I identify a LeRoy Chisholm. Concerning the father of Blind John, I have no information that will clear that up but I know there are folks who have different ideas on who he is. I suspect that John's (as in John and Ellender) children and William's children are forever mixed. I am not familiar with the papers you mentioned. Would you please tell me about them.
W.L.
