I am trying to find out information about Thomas P. Chipman and his wife Mary. He was 36 in 1854, and she was 24. They both died, along with 2 children, of yellow fever during the epidemic at the time. I believe they lived near Vicksburg area.

I would greatly appreciate any information concerning T.P., or other Chipmans in MS at the time. They had a daughter, Ellen Angelina Chipman, who didn't die of yellow fever. She married Benjamin Alexander Beard and settled in San Augustine Co., TX.
