I am answering a posting re: the burial place of George (Heaman) Heman Chipman. See GenForum posting #415 of 511. The Heman Chipman that is in my husband Leroy Riggs' line is "Heman Chipman, b: 29 Oct. 1785 in Salisbury TWP, Addison Co., VT and died 1843 in IL (Navoo?)". This Heman Chipman's Mayflower Society number is 46,134. Do not confuse the two Heman Chipmans. If you are interested in more info on the VT Heman Chipman, write to me at <dittyriggs@earthlink.net>
