Chipmans of Leeds, ON Canada

Although I don't know for sure if I descend from any Chipmans, I would like to correspond with Leeds Chipmans, especially any descendants of Chauncy Chipman of Leeds, ON, who later went to Will/Kankakee, Co., IL ca. 1850's shortly after my ancestor George Kish did. On the Civil War pension papers of George Kish (ca. 1818 ON Canada-1869 Macon Co., IL) it states Chauncy was a boyhood friend of his, and though not present at time of George's 1842 (St. Lawrence Co., NY) marriage to Mary Lawson, had knowledge of it at the time. He had also been friends with them in Will/Kankakee Co., IL at the time of their residence there. In the few Kish researchers I have found (still no link found in our Kish lines), they have told me there were two Kish-Chipman marriages in the early Leeds area marriage records. Because of this, and the migration to IL together, I wonder if Chauncy could have even been related to George.
