Hi Elizabeth!
I just realised I didn't tell you how I knew about Dad being in the camp. He told me, but Greg Leck was able to tell me which camps he was in and for how long. Dad's age was two years out. I also discovered that Dad's father was interened as well. This was news to me... we always assumed he was out to sea in that time!
I found out on the 1837 online records, that Dad's father remarried the year after Dad was born. Thomas married a Larissa Sacovitch in 1941! She wasn't in the camp, so I haven't been able to find anything more out about her or any children they may have had.
