Hello,
I'm researching Joaquin Jao who was born in China in the 1800's sometime. Anyone doing Jao surname research please feel free to contact me. Does anyone know of any Jao people who might have Joaquin in their line?
Joaquin or his son named Justiniano migrated to the Philippines. When Justiniano became a Filipino citizen he had the Jao name hyphenated to Jao-joco.
