Pongco- Is this a chinese name ?

My grandfather's middle name is "PONGCO" I was told he was part chinese but I can't seem to find the meaning of the name or if this really is a chinese name. If it is indeed a chinese name, Where in China did this name originated ? Your help is greatly appreciated.
