CHAN CHOI KO was born in Amoy, China outside of Shanghai.
He came to the Philippines when he was in his early 20's. He
married and immigrated. He was given the Christian name of
Leonardo Jimenez. He would travel back and forth from China
and the Philippines. His oldest son born in the Philippines was
raised in China until he was abt 16 his name was Maximo "CHAN
PING LAI" Jimenez.
CHAN CHOI KO went back to China when abt 1926 and remained in
China. He took his grandson named "Anselmo" but was probably
given a Chinese name unknown. Anselmo was born in June 1925.
Anselmo's cousin is my father-in-law who lives with me here in
the USA. He would like to contact him if still living and or
his family if may still be living in AMOY. For the purpose of
genealogy we wish to trace this very interesting family line and
to reunite the two families seperated by oceans.
Please give us help or a contact in Amoy, China who can assist
us.
