Were your ancestors on any of the clipper ships named below: Taeping. 1869-1895
Ariel. 1865-1872
Min,
Kate Carnie,
Ellen Rodger,
Lahloo,
Falcon,
Sir Lancelot. 1865-1895
Titania ,
Cutty Sark. 1869-1895
Serica,
Marju. 1874-
or any other clipper ships from Scotland during the 1800s
Looking for as much information as possible: articles, photographs, Lloyds Register of Shipping List, details of ships Call Sign, Official registration, captains certificate details and crew lists of these China Tea Clipper Ships in particular:.

The Owners, Captains, and some of the crews of the first seven are from this area of Scotland were I live:
Captain Alexander Rodgers 1820-1877 came from Cellardyke .
Captain John Melville Keay, born September 1828 in East Green, Anstruther Easter .
Captain George Moodie, b. Methil, Fife, d.1923 aged 94.
His wife Janet Cassells.
Crew of Taeping:
George Fowler,
David Watson (Murray),
John Watson (son of James Watson (Salter) of Cellardyke.

I live in Cellardyke, Anstruther, Fife and I am interested in local history and researching these clipper ships to write a book about the part Anstruther and Cellardyke men played in the interesting time of the Wool & Tea Clippers.
Kindest regards
Howard
