Are you researching Mary Eline Carleton as part of your family history, or are you searching for information on her as a missionary? At this point I do not have all the information to hand, but there are some personal papers of Mary Eline Carleton in the Special Collections of Yale Divinity School, New Haven, CT, USA.
Do you know her missionary affiliation? There was a Miss Carleton in Foochow [Fuzhou], which suggests a connection with the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. I am collection biographical data on missionaries to China and would be interested in an exchange of information.
