"My grandmother was Lydia Aspinall and she married Henry Albert Churchill Allen in China about 1901. She came from a family of 18 children in Australia. That's the scoop I got from my brother Gordon. Also there are at least 300 Aspinalls in Australia but I never was in touch with any of them. I wouldn't know where to start. I don't know if any of those Aspinalls that you sent me came from Australia to America. I had very little contact with my father because I was separated by the Japanese War in China and then the Communist take over. I was in College before I had much dealing with him. My father took as his middle name Aspinall after his mother and I took March after my mother. My father through a long stretch was related to Winston Churchill."
