I am looking for information on Joseph (Jo) Ah You born about 1836 Canton China. Migrated to Australia before 1882, about 1861 according to death certificate information, but may have been earlier. Joseph married Charlotte Birch 10/9/1882 at Stony Creek, Young NSW. Occupation designated as Labourer. Joseph died at Wagga Wagga NSW on 19/9/1887. Informant was a friend - Kong Fat. Five daughters listed from the marriage, Rose Ann, Alice, Sarah, Violet V, Daisea M. Looking for any information on Joseph's Chinese family history, and contact with any other descendents of his children. My connection is to Sarah Ah You who married Frederick William Poole born about 1882 Bolton England on 9/3/1901 Sydney NSW. Children Phyllis, Doris, George, Mona and Iris.
