Many Thanks for the link to other Newspapers.
I have found my Dad and his brother as passenders, travelling home from Shanghi to Amoy for school holidays, and later their step mother travelling with the two boys and their sister just after their father died. But as you say, it is hard work finding the right combination of words to work out just what you want. That newspaper appears only to give news of Shanghai and district.
Will have to keep looking.
