My last name is MAK from Hong Kong. I am trying to find out where my family comes from but have very little information. I have been told that my father comes from a place call Tsing Yuen (roughly translates to 'clear' 'far' in Cantonese). Anyone know where that is (is it a village? in what province?) I believe my parents grew up in HK but am not sure. Where is the best place to begin a search with really only names?
