Searching for a List of US Military in Shanghai 1945 to 1948

Am looking for my cousin who married a US serviceman, William L. Jackson, in Shanghai around 1945-1948. After the war they relocated to the eastern US (I think), and we lost them.

Have tried all the usual ancestry websites, death registries, and white pages, with no success, since Jackson is such a common name.

Hope to find them through a list of military servicemen in Shanghai if any such list exists.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
