Danish Consulate, Shanghai, 1846

Hello

My Great great Grandfather, Nicolai Duus was made the first Danish Consul in Shanghai in August 1846. In 1845 he was supposedly resigent in Nang Po. Did he then move in to Shanghai?

I wonder, please, if anyone can tell me where either of his two residences were? And indeed, if they are still standing?

Best wishes,

Patricia Greenway
