Looking for any info about my Gt.Grandfather's niece Maria Alexandrina Buchanan McIsaac. She was born in Scotland but she and her two step-siblings Thomas and Margaret Tudhope all worked for Duncan Fox and Co. in Valparaiso. Maria and possibly her mother Margaret Alexander Tudhope McIsaac may have lived and died somewhere in Chile. Thomas and Maggie Tudhope retired back to Scotland but I have lost track of Maria and her mother. maybe Margaret died in the 1906 earthquake or perhaps sometime earlier. I have hit a brick wall with this one. I know Thomas had a house in Limache which he sold in 1902. any ideas if Duncan Fox and Co has an e-mail address where I could ask about employee archives? Apparently he was a very wealthy man with lots of interests in Chilean companies. The firm still exists but only phone and fax details listed. When his sister Maggie died in 1951 she left in her Will an oil painting of Valparaiso to be returned to the London office of Duncan Fox and Co. Any help appreciated. Thank You, Sheila in England.
