Jose Emmanuel Torre 1830 Talcahuano Chile

My ancestor Jose Emmanuel Torre (changed to Tory since coming to Australia) emmigrated to Australia from Talcahuano between 1851-1861. He was born about 1830, was a catholic and lists his occupation as a miner on his marriage certificate. His father was Patrick (Patricio?) Torre and his mother was Mary (Manuella?) Dragu. I am travelling to Chile for the first time with my family in March/April this year and would appreciate any tips on where to look or who to contact to do some research into my family history.
