Thanks,

I'm definitely going to follow up on the birth record in Malloco and the marriage record to see what they say.

Also, if anyone reading this knows of a William Cardenas born abt 1880 married to Frederika with son Lesley Cardenas, all of Texas, please contact me. They are another family in the same locality that lists a father from Chile and mother from Mexico in the census records.

2nd Also, I've had a yDNA test done for the Cardenas branch of the family and just got the results with no matches on Ancestry.com. Does anyone know of any good Cardenas surname or Chilean DNA test groups?

Thanks again,

Dave
