Cardenas from Chile to Texas

Hello,

I'm looking for a Cardenas connection between Texas and Chile. I found an 1870 Census record for Andreas Cardenas living in Brownsville, TX. He says he was born in 1831 in Chile. His wife Pancha was born in Mexico. His children Mariano and Isidra were born in Texas. I think he is also the father of Andrew born in 1870 after the Census was taken. Andrew moved to Houston where he lived until he died with wife Hester and children Author, James, Andy, and Maria. If this sounds familiar to anyone, please send me an email. Thanks,

Dave
