In about 1906 James and Mary Tarbotton with their four youngest children, Florrie (Florence), Doris, Harold and Winifred left Yorkshire to work in Argentina. While there, Florrie met a Scot, William McRostie, who was a window-dresser in a store called Redell's(?) They married and moved to Chile where he bought a shop in Santiago. The Tarbotton family emigrated to Australia in about 1912, where Florrie brought her family (husband and two sons, Peter Stanley and John Leslie) to visit some time in the 1920s. I am trying to locate and descendants of John and his wife Ivy. I had an old address - Hernando de Aguirre, 222 Dept 42, Santiago - and wrote to it but got no answer - maybe moved or died? Children born in about the 1940s were June, Peter and Leslie, they are our second cousins. I heard from a very elderly relative that June married and lives in USA - no idea of surname or location. Thank you to anyone who can help, Shirley and Michael Tarburton
