For Peter Timber,
Flwg yr info I rang the tel. no. in Santiago but they had no knowledge. I am sure now the name wld not be Salazar Salinas as each time there is a new birth the child takes the father's first surname and the mother's first surname, so Salazar wld still exist but the second surname cld be anything. I know there was a Vargas at one point as my grandfather's mother re-married but not sure if they had any more children. I did hv two great aunts called Gertrudes and Ines.
