Hi Otto: Since 1885 we have national record register calles "Registro Civil" , so if we want to obtain birth record or other similars, we must to look at the Church register. Do you know if they are catholic or other religion?. In the last twoo centuries ago in Valparaíso oll the people that was not catholic, when died , they go to special cementery call " Cementerio de Dedidentes" in a place called "Playa Ancha". I think it is posible to look in this registes too. I hope hear to you again By Dixie
