My name is Fran Brown living in California, USA. I am researching my father's history. His name is Josef Alois Paulin and he was born in Leifers, Austria. His father was Josef Paulin and his mother, Maria Dipauli Paulin. My father had three other sisters and two brothers: Antonia, Hermann, Maria, Rosina and Augustin, all born in Leifers. Grandmother died in Leifers in 1883 and grandfather remarried his wife Mary. Dad, grandfather and stepmother, along with Antonia and Herman came to America around 1897. It is my understanding that one of his sisters married and moved to South America. I believe it is Rosina as Maria married an Rizzoli and lived in Innsbruck, Austria.
I am looking for Rosina Paulin (don't know her married name) She was born on January 1, 1882. Perhaps she can also tell us about happened to her brother Augustin, also.
I would appreciate hearing about Rosina from her if she is still alive, or anyone who knows the family.
