Ideally I would like a Birth Certificate, but as there are five listed in the phone book, I would not know who to contact, and as I don't even have a birth year for him would be unable to apply for a Certificate anyway. Another thing I do not speak spanish, only English here in New Zealand. Do you live in Chile or Argentina Peter.

I don't even know how to go about applying for a certificate in those countries anyway. We don't have access to anything like that in this country. Do have any access to records at all, eg marriage.
