Since my 1st message, have found Frank Whitney Childs, born 1851 in Onodongo County, NY, to Benjamin and Celesta Childs. In household: Sister Alis,Frank & Lucy, and believe grandmother (?) Allathea age 72. Found him as bachelor at age 48 - not know if married and widowed or not. He went to Iowa in his late 50's (about 1914) and married Ivah Pearl Carncross, age 24. They had three children: Bruce, Max and Paul. Frank died at age 72 or about in 1928. Is this info pertinent to anyone?
Does anybody know why Whitney is middle name?
What or whom does it relate too?
