My Grandfather, Luther McKinley Childs 1901-1961 (known as "Chili Childs" in Chattanooga, TN), was the oldest brother of a large family of 6 Childs Children from Spartanburg South Carolina. I know I must have realtives who have roots in Spartanburg and I also have pictures of Childs who were born before the civil war.
