You asked me what I know about Nathan Childs. Very little. All I know is that I have a tintype of a man with "Norman Childs" scratched on the back. Since all of the other tintypes that I have are from western NYS, I assume that this one is, too, but I don't know for sure. I am trying to associate it with the Pomeroys who lived around Delevan, the Fegles family of Yorkshire in Erie County, or the Champs of Geneseo, because those are the only family branches that I really have information about. I can't be sure that he is the Norman Childs that you are looking for.
I have emailed you a copy of the tintype.
