Last week I was in Edenton, NC where I found a street marker for Thomas Child. In looking for him on the internet I came across the fact that he went 'back' to Suffolk, England. He was son of Dr.Richard Child. Look for him in North Carolina where he was a Att'y General of the Colony and bought land for Lord Granville, of England. Could led to more info. for you
