Thanks for trying to help. I gave my second cousin (Cathy Cyree Key) permission to post info from my files on Rootsweb, & unfortunately, I think that is where most of your info came from. Researching Jones--especially James Jones!--is not easy. I need all the help that I can get. My latest idea is trying to find a Jones descendant to do a Y-DNA test to see if we fit any existing Jones line being researched.
