Interested to read your enquiry. My Frederick was born 1891, Streatham, London. His grandfather came from Sheet, Petersfield in Hampshire UK. Whilst researching the Childs name, came across a lot of them in this latter area. Found Ancestry.com.uk very good for census records but only back to 1841 when first records were kept.
