My name is Elaine ROBINSON & I am also researching the CHILD-ROBINSON FAMILIES. My connection is as follows: Dr. George E. Robinson b.1835 married a Sara Child. Sara was the daughter of James W. Child(s) is the Greenwood area. I am a white researcher that is also looking for descendents that possibly black. George Robinson was the grandson of a large plantation owner in the upstate of SC.
